DISCOVERY OF EXOTIC GUJARAT

Day 1 - Arrive Mumbai
Meeting upon arrival and transfer to Hotel. Afternoon half day sightseeing tour of Mumbai visiting Prince of Wales Museum (closed on Mondays), Fish Aquarium, Gateway of India, Jain temples, hanging Gardens on the slopes of Malabar Hills offering a view of Marine Lines and Chowpatty Beach, Kamla Nehru park and Marine Drive. Overnight at the Hotel. 



Day 2 – Mumbai / Bhuj
In time transfer to the airport to connect flight for Bhuj. On arrival transfer to the Hotel followed by visit to Collector’ office for the permit to visit Banni Villages. Overnight at the Hotel.

Day 3 & 4 – Bhuj
Full day excursion to Banni Villages famous for their local handicrafts. Overnight at the Hotel.



Day 5 – Bhuj / Ghondal via Dhamadka
Transfer to the Hotel and visit around Gondal village visiting the Naulakha palace, including the collection of vintage cars of Maharaja of Gondal, Ayurvedic Pharmacy and Swaminarayan temple. Overnight at the Hotel.



Day 6 – Gondal / Sasangir / via Junagarh
Leave by surface for Sasangir visiting the Uparkot Fort, Ashoka Rock Edicts, Mohabat Khan Maqbara and Budhist caves at Junagarh. On arrival in Sasangir, transfer to Gir Lodge. Afternoon safari to view wild life. Overnight at the Hotel



Day 7 – Sasngir / Diu
Morning visit to sanctuary. Afternoon leave by surface for Diu visiting enroute the famous Somnath Temple. Upon arrival in Diu, transfer to the Hotel. Overnight at the Hotel.



Day 8 - Diu
Full day in Diu visiting the St.Paul Church, Diu fort and if time permits relax on the beach. Overnight at the Hotel.




Day 9 – Diu / Bhavnagar via Palitana
Morning leave for Bhavnagar enroute visiting the famous Jain temples at Palitana. On arrival in Bhavnagar transfer to the Hotel. Later half day city tour visiting the Takteshwar temple, Barton Museum and the local market. Overnight at the Hotel.



Day 10 – Bahvnagar / Ahmedabad via Lothal
Leave by surface for Ahmedabad visiting enroute Lothal, which is an archaeological site of the Harappan civilization where one can see, how the people lived during the Indus Civilisation. On arrival in Ahmedabad transfer to hotel. Overnight at the Hotel. 



Day 11 – Ahmedabad
Full day city tour visiting the Caclicu textile Museum, Gandhi Ashram, Jumma Mosque, Siddi-Syed Mosque, Adalja Step Wall and Hattesingh Jain Museum. Evening flight to Mumbai or Delhi to connect onward flight. An overnight stay can be envisaged to Mumbai or Delhi depending on onward flight departure at an additional cost.
